Today marks exactly ten years since Azoft began working with Certificate Exchange – one of our first and still ongoing projects.
Certificate Exchange provides a patented insurance management platform that allows certificate holders, brokers, and insurance companies to conveniently issue, manage, and renew incoming and outgoing insurance certificates.
Our partnership with Certificate Exchange started when Azoft Team consisted of only a few people. A lot has changed during the course of the project, as technologies evolved throughout the years. Not surprisingly, the technologies that were considered innovative back in 2003 soon became outdated, so it is our job to keep the system up-to-date. In fact, we are currently working on some major changes that will soon be introduced.
Random fact #1: In 2011, Certificate Exchange came to visit Novosibirsk (see photo above).
Random fact #2: Over a decade ago, before this partnership started, the guys over at Certificate Exchange came across a National Geographic article, talking about the rise of IT sector in Russia, particularly Novosibirsk Akademgorodok (where Azoft is located). This was one of the reasons why Certificate Exchange decided to outsource software development to Novosibirsk.
Random fact #3: Azoft team went out to lunch today to celebrate the project's 10-year anniversary (see photo below).
We'd like to send a big 'thank you' from the entire Azoft Team to Certificate Exchange for this long-term partnership. It's been a pleasure working with Frank Hayes and we're looking forward to the upcoming years!
Another 'thank you' goes out to everyone who contributed time and effort to this project: Ivan Ozhiganov, Nikolay Makarov, Alexander Chertenko, Olga Ivanova, and Zoia Diakova.
